Winter Break Family Fun At The DiMenna Children’s History Museum

For some historical fun that the whole family can enjoy, visit the DiMenna Children’s History Museum to participate in the family quiz show, do art projects or go on a history scavenger hunt. Recommended for ages 4-14; no preregistration required. 

Here are specific times for each activity:

Scavenger Hunt
Friday, Dec. 30, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Team up as a family to traverse the Museum with a list of clues. There will be prizes for participation and the chance to enter the Liberty the Dog raffle.

Historical Art Making
Friday, Dec. 30, 1–4 p.m.
Decorate an election button or tri-cornered hat that you can actually wear!

Family History Quiz
Friday, Dec. 30, 2 p.m.
Do you know when George Washington took his first oath of office? Or what games Dutch children in New Amsterdam liked to play? Answer these questions and more as a family to win prizes for participation and grand prizes for high-scorers.
